Memorandum about mutual
cooperation
On Monday 25 June 2007, the signature ceremony of the Memorandum about Mutual Cooperation on the Development of the Bata Canal Waterway and the Morava River Waterway between the South-Moravian Region and The Zlín Region took place. The Memorandum was signed by Stanislav Juránek and Libor Lukáš, regional governors in both regions. The ceremony was a follow-up to the common session of the South Moravian Regional Council and the Zlín Regional Council, which was held during the cruise on the Baťa Canal.

24th Cruise Days
The 24th Cruise Days 2007, a conference with the participation of foreign experts, was held in Hodonín on 2ndthrough 4th October. The conference took place on the Baťa Canal, aboard the ship Danaj, which sailed from the Veselí nad Moravou landing place.
